oops i forgot i had a website...! i knew that would happen but that's okay i'm still fixing things when i can remember! though i don't know what i did between i last updated this and now i have had a pretty nice week! the sun is finally coming out and warming things up in my city. the cherry blossoms are blooming and the streets in my neighbourhood are lined with them so everything is pink and beautiful! they smell so nice too! i've been spending time listening to my walkman and enjoying the randomness of letting a radio station pick my music instead of my own spotify playlists. the tape deck is broken but i found a nice lady in my city who is going to sell hers to me on sunday! it's even better than the one i have in terms of the style i've always wanted, though it doesn't have radio now i'll have two, each for their own purpose! i can't wait to try it out! it's one from the 80s which is what i really want, not that i don't love the 90s one i have now. oh i just remembered that's not the only thing i bought this week! looks like i'm doing a little more shopping than normal but these are both things i really wanted!

okay pants rambling... i have this favourite pair of pants that i got for probably between $10-$15 at a local secondhand shop. they fit me amazingly well. it's usually very very hard for me to find pants. if the waist fits, the legs are too short. if the length fits, the waist is huge. the ones that fit me are always high waisted and i don't like those and the fly is always stupidly short. i hate pants shopping. but this one pair was like MAGIC. they were a colour i've never seen, almost black, almost blue, a little distressed/faded but not ripped. fit in that sort of emo skinny jeans way but not skin tight. they're low rise, they have a good size zipper, even a little extra fabric in the ankles so they wrinkled above my shoes in the perfect way. the button even had my favourite number on it. literally fit me like they were made especially for me. i always feel amazing wearing them. but then, over a few months of wearing them to parties, spilling beer all over them, sitting on the beach in the rocks and dirt, sitting on the pavement, etc... they ripped. not only did they rip, but in the crotch. it was a teeny tiny rip when i got them that i sort of liked, it looked purposeful. but now it was getting really bad and i couldn't wear them out anymore unless i wore my longest black boxers and was careful about them moving around. so i decided to look them up online hoping either i would find the same pair or the brand at least making similar ones since i knew how well they would fit me. i was ready to buy at least 5 pairs. i find the brand right away. yay! i click on their website and go to the pants section without even looking around. the pants are being modelled by runway models. uh oh. i hover over one of them in fear because this looks too fancy. $1200. i hover over another pair. $1600. i think maybe i'm wrong and zoom in on the button. but there it is, my favourite number. same button that's sitting on my waist. oh my god. i'm so sorry for spilling beer on you, pants.

even though i had no chance of getting another pair, i still wanted to see if i could find my exact pair anywhere, just to see what they were going for secondhand. and holy shit!!!! i found some!!!!! on a website that only ships to the usa... but that's where my boyfriend lives! i bought them right away and sent them to his address. for only $150 including shipping! that's SO much more than i ever thought i'd spend on pants in my whole life, especially because all of my clothes are thrifted, but these ones are SPECIAL!!! anyways this was so long but i'm so excited!!!! i cannot believe i've been wearing $1000+ pants this whole time. no wonder they're so nice... i should have known, the tag has always said "made in italy"

gf is finally coming home tomorrow after TEN days. we haven't been apart that long in... well i can't remember... but a long time. while she was away i did almost nothing and we both had a fairly miserable time. i did however clean my house. she doesn't know this yet, but i've been trying to keep it as spotless as possible until she comes over. it's been an awful mess for a long time now and i finally picked up the things on my floor, put away all my clothes, cleaned off my tables and dresser, did my dishes, and put my bed back the way its supposed to be (i've been sleeping upside down for a while). i hope she's proud of me... or at least notices.

anyways... i also traded books with a friend the other day. i love trading books with people, it's nice to have a friend who wants to again. i gave him white oleander by janet fitch and light boxes by shane jones. i hope he likes them. i think light boxes is very much his taste.

gf came home !!! i missed her so much !!! we're watching all the olympic replays that she didn't get to see cause of work and we ordered from one of our favourite restaurants for dinner!! they sent us free ice cream!!!! :D me and her possum stuffie named pepsi are hanging out while she takes a shower. shes been letting pepsi sleep over here while shes away and we've been having a great time :)

i've got to get my sleep schedule fixed... i don't even remember the last time i went to sleep before 5am. at this point i'm just noctural. maybe one of these days i'll get enough motivation to stay up all night and reset myself. i should do that before my boyfriend comes home so we're not all out of sync... but i probably won't. i'm glad the weird ringing sound stopped. it was so loud, it sounded like my ears were ringing but it was coming from outside. it went on for about an hour maybe more (eventually i closed my window, it started to give me a headache.) i thought i was just hearing things but it stopped when i covered my ears and closed the window. i thought i was going to meet an alien or start hearing sirens or something. i still don't know what it was. people online said they could hear it all around the city but nobody knew what was going on. creepy.

my friend dragged me out of bed today (yesterday... it's late) we went to the mall and then back to his place to watch a movie and order a pizza. i got to pet his cats... that was nice. but i sort of feel like i'm getting sick now and i don't like it... there's a weird feeling in my throat. hopefully not. anyways... i was supposed to wash my dishes today. i didn't.

gf and i made banana bread from my grandma's recipe this weekend !!! it's a little soft in the middle but it's still amazing... i haven't baked anything in a long time... i miss it. anyways... we went on a picnic in one of my favourite places in the city and we had such a lovely time :,) i miss her so much... she comes to stay with me every weekend but it's

i know i just made a new site a couple days ago but... it was too simple and i kept wanting to add more... so i made this site! the other one is still up, but the amount of hours i spend coding at a time requires more room to play. i finished that site in two days... so hopefully this one will keep me busy longer. it's designed to hopefully be able to keep growing. and i finally figured out iframes for easy editing yippeeee !!!
